This charter mark, which is valid for 5 years, underlines our commitment to excellence and innovation.

What is the “Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant” (Living Heritage Company) charter mark?

This charter mark is an award from the French state to companies demonstrating rare skills, based on mastery of traditional or highly skilled techniques. It recognizes companies which contribute significantly to the economy of their region and are socially responsible actors.

What are the criteria for the “Entreprise du patrimoine vivant” charter mark?

To obtain this charter mark, a company must show:

• That it possesses a specific economic heritage developed over time.
• That these heritage skills are rare, notably in terms of training and transmission.
• That it has adopted practices which are respectful and responsible, and rooted in its surroundings.

The charter mark process

The National Institute of Art Professions (NIAP) carried out a full audit, with an in-depth visit to our sites. NIAP calls on qualified experts and individuals to evaluate companies on the basis of strict criteria and previous reviews, before the final decisions are taken on a regional level.
